Limon Photography

My name is Sahid Limon, and I’m a Photographer by day, and a super hero by night. Photography to me is more than just clicking a button on a fancy camera. For me, it’s all about creativity and self-expression of an individual.  Growing up, I was the kid who always loved to draw, paint, play musical instruments, and do other activities that usually involved the right side of my mind.  I started taking pictures with my dad’s camera at the age of 9, and I instantly fell in love with it.  I was fascinated with the concept of capturing a moment in time, and being able to cherish it forever.  What I thought would be a hobby, quickly turned into an obsession, and I was hooked on photography.

I LOVE photography and everything about it.  In all honesty, I would photograph weddings and portraits for free if I didn’t have to pay rent or bills!  Just seeing the pure joy and reactions of my clients, makes my job truly sensational and rewarding.  My philosophy in photography is quite simple: Concept,  Emotions, and Creativity.  I like to have an idea behind every image I take, and I try my best to exhibit that concept.  When capturing photos of people, I feel that emotions and gestures are the most important part of the image… and everything should be done to capture that moment.  Creativity is very important for me as well.   This is why I try to always think outside the box, and always push myself to go beyond what I am capable of.  With these three factors, I believe the possibilities are endless in creating images that are truly unique and define our individual characteristics.

Besides photography, I enjoy spending time with my family & friends, playing my old trusty guitar, playing tennis, drinking mango juice, eating just about anything that’s grilled over charcoal, and traveling whenever I get a chance.  I am also an outdoorsmen at heart, so I love camping, hiking, biking, rafting, climbing, and spending time in the wild.  To learn more about my shenanigans, please visit my Flickr gallery.
